Job Description

Role: QA EngineerLocation: Great YarmouthEmployment: PermanentIndustry: Engineering, Oil and GasThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA Engineer to join a progressive global engineering company in the Great Yarmouth area.You will bring with you strong experience in engineering Quality, preferably with a bias towards work in the Oil and Gas sector.Youll be a key figure in the quality team, taking responsibility for the ongoing development of a robust QMS, whilst also being a Lead Auditor for quality, ensuring that quality standards are maintained across all stakeholders.Duties - QA Engineer

  • QA final release inspection of aftermarket and product line in line.
  • Conduct and report internal Audits and where required supplier Audits.
  • Support in the management of third party and customer audits and inspection activities.
  • Management and continual improvement of the QMS.
  • Review, revise, approve and publish QMS documentation.
  • Monitor and drive the CAPA and NCR processes.
  • Manage the compliance of third-party Framework agreements.
  • Assist internal personnel in conducting their duties and perform final QA inspection.
  • Host CAPA/NCR meetings and liaise with appropriate staffing involved.
  • Assist in the preparation and approval of service quality plans.
  • Support the processing of CAPAs and investigations resulting from SQEs as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers to offer support, guidance and queries in respect of quality.
  • Support and offer guidance where required to QC Cell leaders.
  • Ensure all company policies surrounding quality requirements are met.
Experience/Qualifications - QA Engineer
  • Qualified Internal Auditor to ISO9001
  • experience of ISO9001/API & QMS management and development
  • Working experience of CE/ DNV/EN/ISO
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of Oil and Gas product standards, such as API 6A, NACE, ASTM
