Job Description

An outstanding opportunity has emerged for a Production Engineer to join our clients expanding team in Great Yarmouth. They are a dynamic and industry-leading technology company, recognized for their commitment to innovation and excellence. Your role willbe pivotal in contributing to their success, and you will report directly to the Production Manager.Key Responsibilities: As a Production Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing intricate electrical wiring tasks and interpreting electronic schematic diagrams.
  • Assembling systems, sub-components, and panel wiring to a high standard.
  • Operating oscilloscopes and similar electronic test equipment.
  • Assembling and inspecting underwater pressure vessel seals and connectors.
  • Analysing current build and test processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Generating technical reports to document your work.
  • Assembling, wiring, testing, and diagnosing modules down to the component level.
  • Testing, diagnosing, and repairing complex printed circuit boards, including component-level repair.
  • Demonstrating competence in using equipment that involves potentially hazardous voltages.
Requirements for the Role:To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Previous experience in a similar engineering role is essential.
  • Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proficiency in understanding complex electrical wiring and interpreting electronics schematic diagrams.
  • A working knowledge of electronics test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and similar devices.
  • The ability to competently test, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • Capability to work efficiently and safely, even under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong commitment to hard work and dedication to your role.

Working hours:
  • 8:30am - 5pm
Salary:
  • Up to £35,000 basic salary
