Job Description

I am recruiting for my client based in Great Yarmouth for the role of Production Engineer.Daily duties include:

  • Reading and understanding complex electrical wiring diagrams
  • Reading and understanding electronics schematic diagrams
  • Improvement and amendment of company build and test procedures
  • Assembly of systems, sub-components and panel wiring to component level.
  • Using oscilloscopes and other electronics test equipment
  • Testing, fault finding and repairing complex Printed Circuit Boards to component level
  • Working to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance standards
  • Assembly and inspection of underwater pressure vessel seals and connectors
  • Undertaking light mechanical assembly
Requirements for the role:
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to make sound, well informed and objective decisions
  • Displays a good level of initiative, effort and commitment
  • Presents ideas, facts and recommendations with clarity and conviction
  • Identify problems and use sound consistent fault finding methodologies
  • Ability to determine the best solution
  • Good knowledge of Electronic Engineering principles, techniques and practices
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
