Job Description

Are you a seasoned professional in the field of Product Sales Engineering, brimming with enthusiasm for cutting-edge marine technology and an unyielding passion for achieving success We are delighted to present an enticing career opportunity for a ProductSales Engineer to join our clients dynamic team based in Great Yarmouth. In this role, you will report to the Product Sales Manager and will play a pivotal role in advocating and facilitating the sale of specialized survey equipment and products to a diverseand discerning clientele.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage and nurture key client accounts, ensuring their unique needs are met with precision and timeliness.
  • Swiftly interpret and respond to client inquiries, actively identifying promising avenues to offer complementary products.
  • Proactively cultivate relationships with critical clients, consistently exceeding their expectations regarding service quality.
  • Identify and foster prospects for collaboration with new clients.
  • Skillfully craft quotations for equipment rentals and sales.
  • Exercise oversight over the efficient processing of client orders.
  • Contribute to comprehensive business reporting and dutifully complete Customer Call Reports (CCRs) within the specified areas of responsibility.
  • Lend your support to industry tradeshows and actively participate in strategic business development initiatives.
Role Requirements:
  • Mastery of industry-standard survey equipment and instrumentation from a range of prominent manufacturers, including EdgeTech, Sonardyne, iXBlue, Kongsberg, Tritech, Teledyne, and Valeport.
  • Educational qualifications within marine science or an engineering discipline.
  • A proven track record of steering and managing the sales process with finesse.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, complemented by a knack for influencing and nurturing customer relationships.
  • A demonstrated aptitude for preparing sales and commercial documents, such as quotes and tenders.
  • Familiarity with the inner workings of asset tracking databases.
  • The ability to communicate fluidly across the entirety of the organizational structure.
  • A personal ethos characterized by ambition, self-motivation, and a resilient can-do spirit.
  • A willingness to tailor your working schedule to be responsive to the evolving needs of their valued clients
Working Hours:
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:30am - 5pm
Salary:
  • £35,000 - £40,000
