Are you looking for your next Industrial Painter / Grit Blaster role At IRS Recruitment we have a new and exciting role available for an Industrial Painter / Grit Blaster, based in Great Yarmouth. The Industrial Painter / Grit Blaster will be responsible for the application of a wide range of industrial liquid coatings that are manufactured products in accordance with the specification of the OEM (Originator Equipment Manufacturer) and Customer.This position is a a temporary position, lasting from 3 weeks to 3 months, commencing immediately for the right candidate.The working days will be Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week, overtimes and weekends are available.Rates are as follows;Basic - £12.00 per hourOvertime & Saturdays - £18.00 per hourSunday - £24.00 per hourThe successful candidate will be Trade tested by our client, before commencing the role.The duties, and responsibilities of the industrial sprayer / painter are below:* Perform "Power-Wash" and other pre-painting activities on parts in preparation for painting/fabrication.* Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products.* Using instrumentation to measure painting parameters to ensure compliance with OEM specifications* Be responsible for the application of industrial coatings in confined spaces.* Assist in the process of applying the industrial coatings.* Suggest tools and equipment to improve the operation of the unit.* Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment and observe good safety habitsEssential Requirements: * Good Organisation, planning and attention to detail * Experience within a marine or oil & gas industry would be advantageous.* The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines * Ability to work as part of a team as well as be self-motivated * Must have own transport due to site locationIf you are motivated, hardworking with a can do and will do attitude please click APPLY now!This vacancy is being advertised by IRS Recruitment who are operating as an Employment Business.
