MB395: Hydraulics TechnicianLocation: Great YarmouthSalary: £30,000 - 35,000Working Hours: Mon to FriOffshore Uplifts: £147.40 per day spent offshore. However, for the majority of the time this role will be warehouse based. • Compiling documentation/certification packs.
• Ensuring primary use equipment remains in certification.
• Booking goods in and initial inspection of equipment to ascertain what remedial work/testing is required.
• Checking equipment requirements with the Project Engineers and ensuring all documentation is completed ready for dispatch.
• Dealing with the maintenance of hydraulic equipment and hydraulic power units.
• Dismantling, inspecting, reassembling and testing equipment within the product lines.
• Operating the forklift trucks and assisting in loading and unloading vehicles.
• Using the company vehicles to make collections and deliveries.
• Reviewing all offshore procedures prior to operations.
• Supporting staff particularly the Project Engineer, to deliver the offshore phase of projects.
• Assist with delivering offshore services as part of projects:
• Preparing, redressing tools and equipment within the workshop (when and if required) & offshore including, but not limited to, camera systems, subsea disposable camera systems, various running & retrieval tools, tension rings, centralisers and gyro systems.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Good standard of English and Mathematics
• City & Guilds /NVQ qualification or equivalent in a relevant Engineering / Mechanical discipline
• Previous experience in a mechanical or technical role
• Good IT skills Including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good written and good oral communication skills
• Reacts to project amendments and changes promptly and efficiently
• Flexible during times of change
• Can deal with ambiguity and conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally and able to simplify information to distil and relate to others in written and verbal formats
