Job Description

Reporting into the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Accounts department, helping to provide financial counsel to the General Manager and operational departmental heads in order to help the business achieve itshigh growth plans.Client DetailsMy client is a subsea services business, combining experienced project engineering with fast track design and R&D capability, their work allows their clients projects to go from plans to reality.DescriptionAs a Finance Manager, your duties will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Ensuring effective financial controls are adhered to.
  • Deliver accurate monthly management accounts to the General Manager and FC for review and consolidation.
  • Monitoring and analysing overhead and project costs/performance.
  • Work to improve availability/accessibility of financial information within the business in partnership with the Business Improvements team.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of domestic and foreign payrolls, along with related compliance.
  • Timely completion of statutory returns, VAT, EC Sales, ONS etc
  • Managing interim and year-end audit processes/requirements.
  • Management of direct reports.
Profile
  • ACA/ACCA/ CIMA qualified.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access).
  • Sound experience, and knowledge of accounting- ideally Navision.
  • Experience within similar role - within similar industry desirable.
  • High level of attention to detail, with good organisational skills.
  • Logical and methodical approach to work.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and able to re-prioritise work as and when required to meet the business needs.
