You will assist people to access otherservices, by signposting and referring.You will provide community based, face to face services for an increased level of support for more complex cases. Managing referrals and assisting people in assessing their information needs in a person-centred manner is key to this role.About youYou will have:

• Working experience of assessing people face to face and an ability to assess their needs.
• Experience of delivering advice and guidance with a non-judgmental approach.
• A solid and compassionate understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers.
• The ability to work inclusively with people affected by dementia, along with an understanding of the need for client confidentially.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to manage your case load of clients effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt your approach to ensure understanding at all levels.

• Demonstrate optimism, be engaging, and be a pragmatic individual.
• Be approachable and friendly, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Great IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft packages confidently.
• Be able to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Be able to travel across Great Yarmouth and Waveney independently.
