Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Manager to join a well-established family run business based in Great Yarmouth. You will be driving sales growth as part of a passionate, ambitious team focussing on the East Anglia area - Norfolk / Cambridge / Suffolk.The successful candidate will source, follow-up, negotiate and close sales to hit high growth targets. Ability to give customers and prospects confidence is key. The company is looking to increase sales and average order value on a bespoke, manufacturingand installation division of the business. Honesty, reliability, speed and follow up are key.Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • "Get the sale" using various customer sales methods
  • Build relationships and rapport
  • Forecast sales, develop "out of the box" sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Meet team sales targets
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Construction techniques and ability to understand technical details would be helpful.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated and driven
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Ability to train future entry level staff.
Hours - Monday - Friday (40 - 45 hour week) - start and finish times depending upon meetings bookedBenefits
