Our client have a permanent position for a Aftermarket Workshop Hydraulics Technician to join their team in their workshop in Great Yarmouth.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Proficient installation of instrument tubing. Full understanding of fabrication and schematic drawings. To be fully conversant with pressure testing in accordance with current standards andprocedures up to 25,000psig. To be fully conversant with Hot Oil / Water Glycol flushing of small-bore instrument tubing andcontrol panels to our procedures and work pack instructions. System FAT and function testing of hydraulic/pneumatic control panels and assistingtechnicians/engineers with fault finding. To be able to complete the maintenance of hydraulic/pneumatic control systems to currentOEUK guidelines. Nitrogen pre-charging of bladder/piston accumulators and dampers. Training of apprentices and trainees in good practices, pressure testing techniques and flushingpractices. The ability to complete client work orders and time sheets correctly and to the satisfaction of us, the client and the end user. Detailed completion of project close out reports, documentation and certification (signed, datedand identified correctly for invoicing and for inclusion within certification books). Timelysubmission to the supervisor or engineer. Person SpecEngineering NVQ Level 3. GCSE (Grade C or above) or equivalentin English and Mathematics.Experience in the mechanical/hydraulic tradeKnowledge of hydraulic and pneumaticequipment / components. Understanding of hydraulic schematicdrawings. Proficient in Windows based software. Able to work on own initiative as well asbeing a team player. Able to work under pressure and respondto the demands of a high and variedworkload. Must possess strong organisationalskills. Attention to detail to ensure a high levelof accuracy is achieved. Able to communicate with clients /clients representatives.
