Job Description

Payroller - Great Chesterford - £30,000-£35,000 per annumAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced and capable Payroll professional to join a rapidly growing pharmaceutical business based on the Chesterford Research Park.Reporting to the Co-Founders this role will see the post holder taking sole responsibility forall processing on the group’s payroll system, pensions administration and responsibility for all other payroll related requirements.Duties to include:-Work on the set up of the group’s payroll system.-Ensure employees are paid on time-Ensure all employeesset up correctly on the payroll system, taking into account individuals’ terms, pensions, multiple roles etc.-Ensure payroll is processed and cut off deadlines are agreed-Ensure payroll reports aresubmitted to stakeholders in a timely manner-Pension administration, including payments, reports to relevant bodies, auto enrolment, are all correctly processed and managed according to relevant deadlines-Administer payments for Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Paternity Pay-Ensure manual and computerised records are accurately maintained in line withindustry standard and legislative requirements-Develop ad-hoc reports as required-Maintain absolute discretion and maturity in handling sensitive/confidential information-Assist HR in the development and integration of systems, managing the auto enrolment process, development of current processes and systems, ensure pensions administration is filed in a timely and accurate manner on a monthly basis, ensure systems as up to date to calculate accurate pension contributions.This client is looking for a very experienced individual, with substantial payroll and pension understanding. Some HR involvement would also be advantageous.Candidates should have a flexible and willing attitude, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines in a changing environment.Please apply now for more information.
