Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:This is a management role within the Baycroft and its function is to support the Home General Manager/Deputies GM in delivering and providing residents and guest of Baycroft an efficient and personal service whilst maintaining the consistency and continuity and improve the service standards.• Work with the Executive Chefs to ensure the kitchen operation comply with all Health and Safety regulations and care quality commission (CQC) to achieve 5-star food hygiene ratings.• Work with the Customer Relation Manager and Activity team to ensure the marketing plans, residential activities as well as events related to resident’s experience are planned, and executed to the highest standards and optimum satisfaction and results.• Provide strategic leadership, vision and direction to the catering team and work in synergy with the scheme senior team to ensure agreed standards and procedures are always adhered to in all areas of the operation.• Ensure employees are treated fairly and equitably and constantly strives to improve employee retention and performance.• This is a senior role and must demonstrate attributes relating to management role at all times including; full attendance of Daily Meetings & Briefings, CRM meetings and family and resident’s meetings.What you will need to succeedWe are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly. The successful candidate will have:• Previous experience and a Head of department in a luxury care home or hotel environment with strong focus on Food & Beverage operation.• Great knowledge and experience of maintaining health and safety regulations in a kitchen and restaurant environment.• Great knowledge of Food and Beverage and ability to design, create and cost menus and bar lists.• Excellent written and spoken level of English and interpersonal and communication skills• Excellent management and organization skills with previous duty management responsibilities• The ability to control a budget and Profit and loss accounts• Strong ability of decision making and ability to deal calmly with unexpected situations and crises• High standards of personal presentation and professional conduct• Experience of providing customer service in a luxury fine dining environment.The offerOur Life@One benefits offer you an array of services designed with your wellbeing in mind.• Salary c£39,000• Your holidays are important to us.
