Job Description

Warehouse Operative -Grays, EssexThe role will involve scanning parcels into bags in preparation for the delivery drivers to take the items for delivery.Tasks may include:

  1. Receiving & sorting parcels into relevant post codes.
  2. Handling the full range of products sold
  3. Followinginternal processes and procedures, including using radio frequency (rf) scanners and reading instructions from the scanners;
  4. Placing packages onto the sortation belts
  5. Sorting packages on the sortation belts
  6. Preparing trolleys for delivery associates
  7. Checking for accuracy in the packages that have sorted
  8. Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards

  • Start times ranges 04:00 - 10:00 am
  • Finish times ranges 12:00 - 18:00 pm
  • Shift length ranges from 4 hours to 10 hours (8-hour is most common shift)
    • Pay
  • Pay week is Sunday through Saturday.
  • Paid weekly on Fridays 1 week in arrears (ex. in wk 35 paid for wk 34).
  • Payslips, P45, P60 accessible online.
  • £9.50 - £19.00/hour
