We are looking for a mentor to work alongside a tutor with a young 10 year old boy who is currently in year 6. The pupil has been receiving off site education however the plan is for him to be eased back in to school.The pupil has a diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Educational Difficulties, Social anxiety and Low self esteem. This delightful but sometimes challenging young boy needs an enthusiastic and kind person to be his mentor during the week at a lovely primary school in Grays. The ideal candidate will have a background in youth work. The ability to strike a rapport with a young person with emotional and mental health needs is vital.The role is full time Monday to Friday to start after February half term.It is a perfect role for someone looking for a really interesting and rewarding job.
