Job Description

Great opportunity for an Healthroster / E-Rostering officer

  • To support the effective roll out and operation of e-Rostering/-expense across all areas the Trust. To support the expansion of e-Rostering/e-expenses to other staff groups and functions.
  • To work closely with managers, clinical and operational staff to ensure the successful implementation, utilisation and management of e-Rostering / e-expenses across the Trust ensuring the production of effective rosters to ensure achievement of key performance indicators. To promote the use of additional functionality within the system.
  • To ensure timely and accurate completion of changes and requests received (i.e. updates to roster templates, staff details etc).
  • To assist with the monthly finalisation and production of time and attendance and absence extracts to Payroll to ensure staff on e-Rostering are paid accurately on time.
  • To help keep e-Rostering / e-expense system guidance and user guides up-to-date, adhering to best practice. To support the design and delivery of e-Rostering /e-expenses system training ensuring they reflect terms and conditions of employment and employment legislation.
  • To provide advice and support to staff on software and system queries, providing resolution and escalating to senior colleagues / software providers where appropriate.
  • To ensure effective communication to e-Rostering / e-expenses system users regarding roster deadlines, system updates, best practice and other changes as relevant.
  • To support the team with project activities and ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Ideally candidate should have experience of Healthroster system and be able to start immediately.
  • System Management & Reporting
  • To create reports relating to e-Rostering / e-expenses and staffing utilisation regularly and on an ad-hoc basis (i.e. roster approvals, roster performance statistics etc).
  • To be a system administrator and champion user for the e-Rostering / e-expenses system.
  • To manage user access to the e-Rostering / e-expense system through the assignment (and the suspension and termination) of user accounts and passwords.
  • To ensure that the data quality within the e-Rostering system is high, up-to-date and adheres to the Data Protection Act 1998. Undertake regular data validation against information held within ESR to ensure data is up-to-date at all times.
  • To keep updated with all e-Rostering / e-expenses system updates, supporting implementation, liaising with service users, and flagging any potential risks. Support all appropriate testing and training to ensure success in service delivery.
  • To create reports relating to e-Rostering / e-expenses and staffing utilisation regularly and on an ad-hoc basis (i.e. roster approvals, roster performance statistics etc).
  • Role will be Monday to Friday – 9.00 – 17.00.The role needs to start immediately for at least 3 months and will be working from home, but may be called in to the office due to the urgency of this vacancy apply today.
