Job Description

This position offers an excitingopportunity for a committed individual to work for a friendly and supportiveschool where all members of the school community work as a team. In this role, you will be working in partnershipwith the Head Teacher, Senior Leadership Team and the Trusts Central Team,providing comprehensive and strategic support. The successful applicant willmanage the schools operational functions, including finance, personnel,premises, health and safety and data protection. You will also line managethe administration and premises staff. The role requires flexibility, tact andproblem solving on a daily basis, therefore it is essentialthat you are professional, approachable and a very effectivecommunicator. This post is for 35 hours per week, 41 weeks peryear. The exact hours to be worked each day is negotiable. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • relevant professional financial qualifications andbusiness acumen
  • strong financial and administrative background,with proven track record of financial management
  • evidence of successful management ofothers
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to persuade, motivate, negotiate andinfluence others
  • ability to work under pressure and be able to meetdeadlines
  • high personal and professionalstandards
  • flexibility, initiative and a proactive / can doapproach.
    • Previous experience of working in a schoolenvironment is desirable but not essential. What we can offer you: A salary based on Kent Range 8 (£25,692-£29,299FTE) or Kent Range 9 (£29,446-£33,510 FTE) dependant on experience/qualifications.This will be pro-rated down to an actual salary of £22,072 - £25,171 for KR8and £25,298 - £28,789 for KR9
  • A negotiable working pattern for 35 hours a week,Term Time Only + Inset days + Two additional weeks across the year.
