Pay: MPSStart Date: Jan 2021Do you have energy, drive and enthusiasm We need a dedicated, caring individual to lead (alongside our brilliant EYFS leader) our youngest children as they begin their first steps in their learning journey at Cobham. We are looking for an outstanding teacher to join the most amazing teaching team and we can guarantee that you will be well supported and guided in this new adventure. January 2021 start is what we need or sooner if at all possible! It is for 2.5 days a week!We need your commitment to ensuring that all children reach their full potential and that you subscribe to Cobhams motto of Caring, Proud and Successful! These in turn, make us successful as learners, people and as citizens of the world.An extensive knowledge of the EYFS and all it entails is essential. You will undoubtedly need to be a hard working individual, who is extremely well organised, flexible and a great team player. You must be hardy to all weathers and have an understanding and true desire to ensure that the children learn through structured and highly resourced indoor and outdoor play. Extremely positive behaviour management is essential as your every word, action and behaviour ensures that you are the best possible role model to our children at all times. There are 218 children on roll. The class sizes range from 30 to 32. Every class has a super teacher as well as a full time fantastic Teaching Assistant. The school site is a picturesque one with many outstanding outdoor features. We benefit from having a full-sized playing field and two playgrounds. We also utilise many of the local areas of natural beauty to enhance our childrens learning. Classrooms are large and attractively decorated. The school, a listed building, was opened in 1874 and given to the village by the Earl of Darnley, who lived at Cobham Hall, and whose coat of arms adorns the school crest.
