Amazing opportunity, fascinating product range!We are currently recruiting for a unique and successful family run business, based in North Kent, that are currently seeking to recruit an individual with a very high attention to detail to join them as a Graduate Product Specialist. You will ideally be of graduate calibre with either a business-related degree or a degree in History or Archaeology.The company has a small a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals, the size of the team ensures that all staff members are multi-taskers, are hands on and have a can do attitude so the successful applicant will gain exposure in all aspects of the business. This role has a potential to offer a career path and specialise in a unique field for the right applicant.Duties will include:*Describing products lots for inclusion in the quarterly auction catalogue which will include attribution, authentication, grading and valuation*Assisting in the preparation of the quarterly auction catalogue*Valuation research *Photography and scanning of auction lots for inclusion in the on-line catalogue*Preparation of physical lots, including packaging and numbering*Photoshop image editing - training will be provided*Assisting with auction viewing *Attendance at the quarterly two-day auction (a weekend event) *Occasional attendance at trade shows UK and Overseas as and when required*After-sale administration to include post room duties*Any other supporting tasks as required Skills and experience: *You will ideally be of graduate calibre; this could be either from a business-related discipline or possibly a degree in History or Archaeology*Have very high attention to details*Effective written and verbal communication skills both internally and externally*Articulate writing skills for product descriptions *Ability to be hands on in a smaller business and providing support in all areas where necessary incl. *Flexibility in terms of hours, be able to commit to some weekend working incl. auctions/exhibitions*Ability to handle scrutiny, be resilient and handle challenges*An interest in collectable items numismatics/notes etc. This is a unique opportunity to join a great business with a fascinating product range for the right candidate!At KHR we take care to ensure that you are represented as well as possible so it is worth checking your CV for layout, spelling and grammar as well as making sure it is up to date before you submit.
