Job Description

Warehouse FLT OperativeLocation: GranthamPackage: Basic Salary £18,000Working Hours: 37.75 (Monday to Friday)The CompanyMacfarlane Group PLC is the UK’s largest packaging distributor and we are seeking to appoint an experienced FLT Operative to join our established manufacturing team in Grantham. Our specialist manufacturing division designs and produces bespoke protective packaging solutions which are designed exclusively for customers in safeguarding their products in transit. Our customers are UK wide and span several key verticals including: Aerospace, Defense, Electronics, Industrial and Medical.The Warehouse FLT Operative RoleWorking as part of our manufacturing team, the role is based at our in Grantham site. This role is integral to the success of the business; with the successful candidate expected to help with general effective running of a busy warehouse. Key responsibilities shall include…

  • Receive, inspect and unload supplier deliveries
  • Pick, load and dispatch goods
  • Driving Forklift Trucks (Forklift & Counterbalance)
  • Receive and process customer/supplier returns
  • Dealing with suppliers/customers, ensuring high standards of customer service at all times.
  • Ensuring paperwork is processed onto system accurately
    • The PersonSuccessful candidates will ideally have experience of working within a busy warehouse environment. You must also hold valid Forklift licenses (Counterbalance required).
