Based in the Manthorpe Unit.Are you a Social Worker who would enjoy facing challenges in an Mental Health in-patient and community setting, taking pride in working with Older Adults and supporting theirQuality of LifeAbout The RoleThis is an excellent and very rare opportunity to have a guiding hand in the development and implementation of a brand-new in-patient Mental Health service in the Grantham area, based out of the Manthorpe Unit.In this role youwill advocate for individuals going through a Mental Health crisis providing support to carers and families through what may be a very challenging time. This opportunity can without doubt be challenging at times, but also incredibly rewarding.Within this roleyou will work alongside partners from NHS in supporting Older Adults with both functional and organic Mental Health needs during their stay as an in-patient and further in their community.In this Social Work role you will provide supervision to a CCO to supporttheir development in the service.There is no greater reward than working in Mental Health.About YouIt goes without saying that you will need to be a qualified Social Worker who can show good knowledge of relevant legislation underpinning statutory Adult CarePractice.We are also looking for candidates that can demonstrate the following; Values that promote well-being, challenge oppression and discrimination.
