Job Description

Software DeveloperOur client is a successful, specialist software producer, providing online and desktop tools, analysis and regulatory products to world-leading organisations in the life science, pharmaceutical and biotech sectors for c.15 years. They enable better insight,handling and discovery of life science data, as well creating bespoke applications.Further to delivering its most successful year ever, the company is now looking to appoint to a newly created Software Developer role, to work alongside its established Senior Developer, customers and small support team, mainly in the delivery of exciting newonline projects to enable further growth.As Software Developer your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining client applications, associated tools and their functionality (c.90% front end)
  • Creating technical solutions and fixes
  • Assisting with server side development
  • Customer support, potentially including some international travel
  • Managing projects (with support)
  • Continually apply best practice, keeping up-to-date with technologies and trends in software development
As Software Developer youll need:
  • Solid, commercial, application development experience gained in a junior to mid level Software Developer, Software Engineer or Front End Developer type role
  • Proven technical skills and knowledge C#, Javascript, WPF, React JS
  • Education related to above beneficial
  • Interest/experience in health, science and related technology attractive but not essential
  • Some project management skills and knowledge
  • A cooperative and communicative, customer and team oriented approach
  • Flexibility and willingness to attend occasional customer meetings in Europe, the US and similar
