Job Description

Web Designer & Junior Web DesignerSalary: £20,000-25,000Location: HowdenPermanent, Full-TimeHybrid WorkingProposed Start Date: SeptemberTwo amazing opportunities to join a long-standing, forward-thinking business based in Howden within their marketing department. The roles of Junior Web Designer and Web Designer will be the perfect opportunities for a recent grad or an experienced web designerlooking to gain experience in a friendly business with amazing growth prospects.Office Angels is the market-leading provider of permanent office professional roles across the UK.   • Design key graphics for website such as banners and coded landing pages
  • Ensure all products are displayed on the website fitting within the company brand
  • Assist with the design of email marketing campaigns
  • Work as part of a web design team ensuring team and company goals are met
  • Create imagery and coded landing pages to brief set by colleagues
  • Ensure landing pages meet front-end coding standards
  • Assist Lead Web Designer with any tasks as needed
To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Have excellent design skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • An understanding of JavaScript (jQuery) is desirable
  • An understanding of optimising images for the web (not required for Junior role)
  • An understanding of version control using Git is desirable (not required for Junior role)
