Elevation are delighted to represent a world class Chemical manufacturing business as they look to hire a Sustainable Sourcing Procurement Manager with a focus on Raw Material Purchasing for their UK and European Sites.With a global presence and a >£100M turnover, this is a career defining opportunity for a Procurement and Supply Chain Professional to add a widely recognised business to your resume. In the current economic climate, this business are a global super power heavilyinvolved in the manufacture of the COVID-19 vaccine ready to distribute across the world.A key role within the organisation, this role will be responsible for leading for providing solutions on some key targets for sustainable and ethical sourcing, managing a portfolio of suppliers across the UK, Western Europe and ASIA.A background in Manufacturing, coupled with MCIPS (or working towards) would be desirable for this role, alongside working knowledge of SAP.Key duties and responsibilities will include: A background in Sustainable Sourcing - ESG etcWorking closely with Purchasing Department across sites working on key targets and goals Delivering sustainable bottom-line growth via strategical sourcing of Raw Materials and PackagingSourcing new suppliers and maintaining current key relationships with stakeholders globallyManaging a portfolio of suppliers across the UK, Western Europe and ASIA.Ensuring compliance to local and global policies.Implementing new projects and processes within a complex organisation on an international scaleElevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences: A proven background in sustainable sourcingConfident with sourcing on a UK and Global levelMCIPS Qualified of working towardsWorking knowledge of SAPStrong manufacturing experienceElevation Procurement & Supply Chain is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment focusing on engineering, operational and technical positions in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
