Job Description

Site Accountant - Hybrid£40K - £60KEast YorkshireT2M Resourcing are recruiting a Site Accountant to support the Financial Controller of a multi-entity group. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant or Financial Accountant with experience of the manufacturing and / or distributionsector.This role is permanent however, Interim Accountants will also be considered.We seek a technically strong qualified Accountant based in Yorkshire, the successful candidate will need to be system savvy within the context of manufacturing.Hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office.Reporting to the Financial Controller your remit will include:Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for complex balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities.
  • Responsible for complex bank account reconciliations for multiple entities.
  • Working as part of a team to produce monthly management accounts, for multiple group companies, to tight deadlines.
  • Standard costing for basic manufacturing processes.
  • Review and explanation of variances to trend, budget and forecast.
  • Supporting commercial decisions with ad hoc analysis
  • VAT return preparation and filing.
  • Preparation of Annual Budgets.
  • Audit preparations.
Requirements for success :
  • Experience of various manufacturing costing approaches.
  • Experience of producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts and related commentary.
  • Experience of producing budgets, cashflow forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Statutory reporting and tax compliance including Corp Tax, P11D, VAT.
  • Sarbanes-Oxley (desirable).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail oriented with strong experience in budgeting and forecasting with strong organisational skills.
  • The ability to work at pace and remain consistent under pressure.
