Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Science teacher ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic Science teacher to join our team in the Goole area. This is a full-time position with immediateavailability, lasting at least until Christmas, with the potential for extension.Role Overview: As a Science teacher, your primary responsibility will be to inspire and educate students in the exciting world of science. Youll be expected to deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and create a positivelearning environment. Full planning and marking duties are an integral part of this role.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons to students of various ages and abilities.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet curriculum standards.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through continuous assessment and examinations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve and reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum content and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Uphold school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and discipline.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
What We Require: To work with Tradewind, candidates are required to have the following qualifications and documentation:
  • A valid DBS check on the update service (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • At least 2 satisfactory references.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
