Job Description

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a knowledgeable and driven Payroll & Benefits Assistant for a large established specialist business in Goole, working as part of a large team processing high volume payroll & administrative support;initially on a 12 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will receive a competitive benefits package including:* Defined benefit pension scheme with death in service benefit* 25 days paid holiday allowance (plus bank holidays)* Private Healthcare* Tri-annual Health Assessment* Free lunch in on-site restaurant* Access to share plansSupporting the Payroll and Benefits team, The Payroll & Benefits Assistant will be responsible for:* Preparation, processing and delivery of a timely and accurate payroll process to all of our UK locations and circa 1000 employees* Statutory and company benefit payment calculations* Working to deadlines to ensure all necessary payments are made* Reconciling payroll accounts to maintain accuracy and detect errors as well as collecting and preparing data for HMRC returns* The first point of contact for payroll and benefits related queries and will coordinate some of our Company benefits programmes* Maintain a good level of payroll legislation* Salary sacrifice and benefit arrangements knowledge so that you understand upcoming changes and how these should be applied to the businesses payroll process to ensure their complianceElevation Accountancy & Finance are currently looking for individuals with the following skills and experiences: * 2 -3 years experience within payroll * Strong communication skills * Good IT/Microsoft Office skills * CIPP qualified or working towards (desirable)If you meet the criteria for this role, and are interested in being put forward please do not hesitate to apply or contact Jess Gazda to discuss.
