Job Description

Interim Operations AccountantGoole - £30,000 - £45,000Initial 5 month contract Chase & Holland are exciting to be working with successful, fast growing manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Operations Accountant to join their friendly team on an interim basis for an initial 5 month contract. This role is agreat opportunity for someone who wants to support a fast growing business to drive continuous improvements. You will receive:

  • A competitive salary of up to £45,000
  • 25 days holiday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Presentation and analysis of daily and weekly operational reports including productivity, costs, margin, labour, wastage etc.
  • Assist in the management and development of reporting systems
  • Support the operations team with financial input
  • Identify and driving cost saving and profit improvements initiatives
  • Working closely with the factory manager to drive efficiencies and KPI reports
  • Involvement with costing for new products and manage stock master files
  • Manage the business stock control and associated accounting procedures
  • Key involvement with factory capital projects
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience of finance in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong interpersonal still to communicate with all departments
  • Ability to challenge the status quo
  • Must be IT literate including excel
  • Excellent problem solving skills
