Job Description

Elevation Recruitment are looking for an Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of our chemical manufacturing clients, based in the Goole area due to growth of the business!Salary: £40,000- £43,000Location: GooleHours: Days only- 7am-4.30pm Monday to FridayA few of the many benefits:

Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:
  • Provide Electrical and mechanical support to both production and equipment at all times
  • Creating a concise log of events whilst doing all aspects of role including failure reports and PPM’s on SAP systems
  • Always working to a continuous improvement plan to make the company and its employees the best it can be
  • Ensure you are always compliant to health and safety standards
  • Fault finding will be a part of the daily role on PLC’s on Siemans and SCADA systems
  • Attending to breakdowns and working to ensure machinery downtime is kept to a minimum
  • This role involves a lot of mechanical engineering as well as electrical, so must be flexible
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance daily
Desired Experience:
  • Must have a strong background within Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance
  • Apprentice trained with NVQ Level3, HNC/ HND/ ONC/ OND or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • Ideally have experience within chemical manufacturing previously- not essential
  • Must have worked within a manufacturing environment previously
  • Must have experience of fault finding on PLC’s- Siemans, SCADA system
  • Must be a team player, but also able to work from own initiative if needs be
  • Ideally have experience of working with Motors, control circuits, mixing vessels, pumps, flow meters, restricting meters, inverters and local control panels.
  • Ideally have experience of working on SAP systems, must be computer literate at a minimum
  • Must be happy to be part of a rotated on call system
