Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working exclusively with a global manufacturer to recruit a Maintenance Shift Manager based in Goole. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager to join a transforming business and build a strongmanagement career in a fast-paced environment. The working pattern for this role will be a 4on/4off cycle of 12-hour shifts (DDNN RRRR) with the occasional day shift required for ad-hoc projects and meetings. The Maintenance Shift Manager duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to:* Ensure a safe working environment and promote a safe culture whilst supporting the team with any safety concerns* Responsible delivering improvement projects utilizing continuous improvement strategies * Effective management of team including training and developing and creating a positive and engaging team environment * To effectively manage resources in line with the maintenance schedule and support breakdown activities to ensure maximum equipment availability * Liaise effectively with key stakeholders and escalate when requiredWe are keen to speak with Operational professions that possess the following skills and experiences:* Experienced manager with excellent interpersonal skills and able to motivate and direct a team * Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across all levels * Creative problem-solving skills and a drive to implement process improvements* Strong understanding of quality standards and H&S regulations* Competent with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Office * IOSH qualification would be beneficialElevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with senior engineering, technical and operational positions in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and the surrounding regions.
