Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Operations Manager, for a successful manufacturing business in Goole. Given the nature of the role, you will be office-based & full-time, however after your probation there is thethe potential for some home working.Reporting to the Group Head of Finance, you will be instrumental in the ongoing, future success of the site. You will manage and oversee both the operational and commercial finance functions, with the support of a small team, and will play a significant partin the delivery of financial services to both internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities will include:- Ensure the production and development of commercial and operational reporting- Improve factory performance monitoring systems, and produce factory KPIs- Provide input to the Sage/ Warehouse Management System development projects- Manage businesses stock control and accounting procedures including reviewing and validating all stock volumes and valuations- Management of all factory variance reporting including usage, purchase price and rework reporting within the business- Identify and report cost saving and profit improvement initiatives - Management of all energy and packaging statutory reporting - Preparation of Capex forms for review and approval - Continually review all control and reporting procedures - Develop and manage an MRP process to support operations functions- Manage the standard costing process for all new launches and NPD- Management of the commercial finance function to include all sales and margin reporting - Manage the price lists within the business and promotional reviews - Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast and review- Business partner the sales and marketing functions within the businessKey skills / experience:- Fully qualified Accountant / qualified by experience- Experience in an operational role within manufacturing- Standard costing experience- Experience of Sage and TM1 Cognos preferred but not essential- Strong stakeholder engagement skillsIf you relevant experience and are looking for a highly commercial role in a manufacturing business then please apply today.
