Experienced Production Cell Leader required for the Neath Port Talbot/ Baglan area! Contract: Fixed Term Contract 6-8 MonthsHours: Full time, 12 hour shifts covering both days and nightsPay: £25- £28,000 depending on experience + 40% Shift Allowance Our client is a Global leader in Water and Hygiene and are currently looking for an experienced Production Cell Leader to join their busy team.The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a fast pace manufacturing environment, target driven with drive and ambition. You will be required to manage and coordinate your production department, achieving work standards that meet with GMP, 5s, Quality and Health and Safety. A proven history of working with leadership techniques to enhance your teams performance and to increase Production output.Main ResponsibilitiesSAFETY - Role model safety behaviours and practices, reinforce correct behaviours by regular Behavioural Safety Observations with feedback.SHE -Problems raised, resolved and escalated as appropriate. Ensure the team operates to regulatory safety and environmental standards. Through correct allocation of resource, ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintainedSERVICE - Manage the teams resources to deliver manufacturing execution - tracking performance and using root cause analysis for resolving or escalating issues as needed Allocate resource dependent on business priorities Ensure operation to Quality standards and resolution and escalation of issues as appropriate.SAVINGS - Delivering and improving site KPIs through formal loss identification and eradication Recommend equipment upgrades / changes to improve line efficiencys and performancePEOPLE - Role model behavioural standards for team Proactive performance management of team Promote culture of continuous improvement Coach team personnel in site standards and competencies. Mentor new team members and ensure resources allocated based on competency Effective and timely communication within the team (e.g. briefings, updates etc.)Qualifications Experience as a team coach or other leadership roles is essential along with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop others through experience or competency assessment.
