My client a local authority based in Leicestershire have a really interesting interim opening for a Communications officerstrategic projects to deliver key communications and media projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gainstrategic experience while taking the next step in their communications career.The role is hybrid so will be a mix of home working and working in office in LE3, its initially for 3 months but highly likely to be extended. The rate is £24 per hour through an umbrella but there may be some flexibility.They are looking for someone who can: Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate communications to deliver the aims youll agree with managers Demonstrate they have an eye for a story and a grasp of print, broadcast, and digital mediaand can create compelling, newsy content Manage and promote the Leicestershire brand, and provide excellent communications and marketing advice to colleagues across the organisation Co-ordinate the delivery of internal and external communications campaigns working with our talented communications and digital services team Be creative and able to spot opportunities and plan ahead Understand social media inside and out Respond to reactive requests from the media, colleagues, and partner organisations, in a timely and professional wayIf you are interested, please apply online today, or send your CV directly to
