Job Description

Events Manager£30,000 - £40,000 Depending on ExperienceLeicestershirePitch has the absolute pleasure working with a great marketing agency based in Leicester. This agency has a long and very well established team with a portfolio of clients who trust their guidance, value their input and cant get enough of their creativeability.They are on the hunt for an Events Manager to join their team and support a range of global clients in the delivery of marketing, events, and comms activity! They operate in a fast-paced, solutions-focused environment and they have a reputation for deliveringthe absolute best.Reporting into the Account Director, day to day youll work with a super talented marketing team who deliver some of the most amazing marketing solutions to clients from different backgrounds, so not 2 days are ever the same. Youll be hands on with allaspects of events taking full responsibility for managing the delivery of client event programs, campaigns, and projects, whether live or virtual. Youll be coming up with ideas and initiatives to really bring the clients vision to life, ensuring the contentfits the messaging of the event you are working on.Sounds great! What will I be getting up to

  • Responsible for planning, managing and delivering big scale events from galas and exhibitions to corporate events.
  • Project managing live events and associated communications.
  • Looking after client communications: from updates, to taking briefs and tracking work through the agency, youll ensure the client is happy every step of the way.
  • Maintaining and managing client budgets, working to agreed margin targets.
  • Coming up with creative solutions to client challenges.

  • Experience of running and managing top end corporate B2B events.
  • Someone with excellent communication skills, who can understand how marketing and events fit together.
  • Someone who is experienced with event organisation, collaboration and deliverance, pulling all the right people together to ensure each event is a success.
  • A savvy and creative thinker who is solutions-driven, delivers excellent results and loves what they do.
  • Someone who can create, project-manage, and support at live events.
  • A team-orientated person who can work alongside creative, digital, PR, and logistics professionals to ensure all elements of their client campaigns are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Last but not least, someone who is cool, calm and collected under pressure. (If youve managed events before you know what we mean by this!).
The team have a lovely office, a great team-orientated culture and big plans to grow the agency long-term. Theyve gone from strength-to-strength post Covid and client requirements are increasing on a weekly basis.The team operate flexible working but like to spend as much time as possible in the office together.
