Job Description

OverviewRef: 64267Web Developer / PHP / CSS / HTMLExciting opportunity for a talented Web Developer to join an expanding team in Glasgow city centre. You have strong attention to details skills, outstanding problem solving skills and desire to work with a wide range of brands and digital platforms thisis an excellent opportunity to consider.Role ResponsibilitiesDuties will include:

  • Having responsibility for the everyday running of a suite of mobile responsive websites using PHPStorm, Adobe Dreamweaver and CSS
  • Overseeing the build and rollout of new website pages
  • Developing and implementing responsive designs in code
  • Collaborating with print designers to create pages adhering to UX best practices
  • Maintaining and enhancing the existing codebase
  • Continuous improvement of the front and back end development, approaches and techniques
Person SpecificationEssential skills will include:
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and other web technologies
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (Ideally WordPress)
  • Knowledge of Linux servers
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics with a focus on ecommerce reports
