Job Description

Water Hygiene Manager required for our client, a company that specialises in plumbing, heating, and water management, based near Edinburgh. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Manager to carry out thefollowing responsibilities; within their water hygiene and legionella control department;

  • Directly managing a team of engineers who carry out water hygiene works across Scotland
  • Completing water risk assessments, and ensuring that all assessments completed by engineers are up to date and audited regularly
  • Liaising directly with both existing clients and potential new clients to further new business for the department
  • Ensuring that all engineering works are coordinated and scheduled effectively to allow works to be completed in a timely fashion, along with following up on completed works and ensuring the client is happy
This role will be a hybrid-working position with the opportunity to work two days from home, and three days from our clients offices near Edinburgh, and a background within the water hygiene industry is essential for this role.Water Hygiene Manager Position Requirements
  • 5+ years experience working within the water hygiene/legionella industry
  • Experience managing a team (ideally a team of engineers completing maintenance works)
  • Risk Assessment for Legionella and Water Hygiene Control in Water Systems (WH004), qualification desirable
  • Legionella Risk Assessment of Commercial Hot and Cold Water Systems (WS8), qualification desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Based within a commutable distance of Edinburgh
Water Hygiene Manager Position Remuneration
  • Salary £38,000 - £42,000, depending on experience (negotiable for candidates with a strong background in water hygiene)
  • Car allowance provided
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • Private healthcare
  • Hybrid working available
