Our client is a well-established name in the water treatment/hygiene industry offering professional water management services to a national client base. They are seeking to recruit an experienced and competent Water Hygiene Engineer based in and aroundthe Glasgow area. The successful candidate will have previous experience fulfilling legionella compliance duties in line with the ACOP L8 guidelines and will have experience working on various site types. The Client would consider a trainee with some plumbing/ water hygiene knowledge. Applications from Edinburgh, Falkirk, Paisley, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & experience:Experience of working in this role within the water hygiene industry.Must have a good working knowledge of the water treatment industry legislation.Proficient in using the Microsoft Office package.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Role:Monitor the clients air and water systems, ensuring compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation.Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.Temperature monitoring, routine sampling and analysing water systems.Maintenance on cooling towers, shower heads, flushing and disinfections.Build and maintain a professional relationship with clients.Collate the relevant information and produce comprehensive reports.Responsible for humidification PPMs, temperature monitoring, microbiological monitoring, CWST and TMV inspections.This company are offering a competitive salary, depending on experience, company vehicle and many other benefits.Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry; we work with the best clients and candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.We would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.
