Job Description

Our client who is based in the public sector has a requirement for Warehouse Operatives which is based in the Govan area. This will be temporary until Christmas with a possible extension. The rate of pay will be £10.03 per hour, shifts available Mondayto Friday 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm and 10am-6pmDuties

  • To undertake the over-label/ pre-packing of medicines following departmental procedures
  • Deal with disposal of waste following Standard Operating Procedures
  • Process pharmacy requisition, ward top-up lists and returns through the Pharmacy Stock control system as per departmental procedures e.g., Ascribe and print picking tickets
  • Participate in the stock control systems for medicines including stock checks, stock rotation, expiry date checks and good housekeeping of medicines
  • Rectify any inputting/picking errors set aside by the Pharmacy Support Worker Higher Level or Distribution Manager.
  • Undertake the receipt of goods at delivery point, ensuring stock is correct and is fit for purpose, and all documentation is endorsed and stored appropriately ensuring effective stock rotation
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding returnable items, damaged goods and queries as required
  • To prepare products in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, COSHH, Good Distribution Practice, Good Clinical Practice, Health & Safety directives, and procedures, and following completion ofan appropriate training programme
