Job Description

What will I be doing in the roleOur Warehouse Operatives are very important to the smooth running of the business, you will be responsible for the safe, continuous and efficient running of the warehouse. The role is important to help ensure products are where they need to be on time and youwill be responsible to ensure that the product is ready for the customer to collect. To support our customers effectively you will;

  • Picking, Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Manual lifting for our customers
  • Work with the Warehouse Supervisor to support needs of the branch
  • Achievement of warehouse Key Performance Indicators to agreed standards, incorporating productivity, pick accuracy and customer service targets
  • Oversee stock control and inventory; to include responsibility for purchasing from certain suppliers
  • Support and assist Health and Safety culture to ensure that both staff and customers are free from accidents and that all parties actively endorse a safe and healthy working environment
