Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Vendor Specialist on a permanent basis.As the IT Vendor Specialist responsible for Service Delivery, you will work within the IT team utilising a strong strategic mind-set to ensure a clear focus on the forward IT agenda.This is predominantly a stakeholder facing role and requires you to establish and manage expectations within the business and encourage the IT team to achieve those expectations to a high standard. This role will include managing several third-party suppliersand their service reporting via regular service review meetings between all parties as laid out in the service contracts, identifying supplier and service management risks, issues, and implementing mitigations.Role Responsibilities

  • Manage department processes, which should aline with company expectations
  • Be an active participant in the resolution of major incidents to ensure coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review.
  • Champion service and support in projects and developing a strong understanding of project budgets impacting service areas and ensuring service impact is minimised and agreed by all supporting parties.
  • Be accountable for the quality of service and performance against external service level agreements and internal service level objectives
  • Build, manage and drive internal and third-party relationships to assess the suitability and viability of IT services provided to the business.
  • Communicate service improvements and progress to the organisation, ensuring actions are followed through to completion in a timely manner.
  • Work with internal and third-party teams to ensure actions are taken and completed to protect and improve services working in an open honest and transparent manner providing a real and long-lasting win-win environment.
  • Provide regular and accurate management reporting on IT Service Improvement internally, creating, delivering, and monitoring IT Service Improvement Plans.
Role Requirements
  • Experience conducting service improvement, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experienced Service Management professional delivering service improvement planning.
  • ITIL qualified.
  • Experience of managing third parties and third party delivered services.
  • Knowledge/experience of Procurement processes and Public Sector Procurement
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft licences

  • £40,000-£45,000
  • 37 days annual leave
