Job Description

Vehicle MechanicAbout our client:Our client have a network of 32 dealer locations across the UK including 4 body-shops and accident repair centres. Their portfolio is ever expanding and are looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to join them team on a permanent basis.Hours:

  • Day shift
Salary:
  • £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Location:
  • Govan
  • Ayr
Main duties:
  • Observe, recognise and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
  • Examine vehicles and report upon the vehicles condition, safety and reliability and performance (MOT)
  • Carry out roadside repairs
  • To report any broken or faulty equipment to your Supervisor/Manager in line with our Group Health & Safety Policy.
  • Ensure all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer paperwork and electronic documentation, i.e. PDI sheets are fully completed and signed off
Requirements for Vehicle Mechanic:
  • Minimum Level 3 City & Guilds / NVQ in Vehicle Repair
  • Full valid UK driving license
