Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit a UX Designer for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £285/day (outside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will initially be remote based. Responsibilities:·To provide support and expertise in the field of user experience (UX) design to bear in the development of services on Turas Digital Platform·Create mockups, wireframes and prototypes in line with Agile/UX team requirements·Finding innovative solutions to usability issues·Development and maintenance of Axure libraries and templates in line with style guide·In depth analysis of analytics of user behaviour·Assisting UX Lead as directedEssential Skills:·Degree level qualification or equivalent·Relevant postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline·Significant experience working in the field of User Experience (UX)·Significant experience of user interface design, wireframing and prototyping user journeys·Knowledge of user research and evaluation methods. e.g. interviews, usability testing, heuristic reviews, card sorting, surveys and workshops·Knowledge of UX and UI principles·Understanding of WCAG 2.1 Accessibility guidelines·Ability to identify and communicate usability issues in a concise and easily understood manner·High standard of IT skills including MS Office·High level of interpersonal organisational and communication skills ·Ability to work within a complex and dynamically changing team ·Discretion and confidentiality ·Numerate ·Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work on own initiative ·Good organisational skills·Accurate eye for detail Desirable Skills:·Axure wireframing software, HTML and CSS,·Google Analytics·Public sector experienceIf you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
