Change Public Practice are working with a market leading CA firm who, who due to impressive growth and recent business wins, are recruiting a Transaction Services Assistant Manager for their Central Belt team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. This firm stronglybelieves in the people they have in their business and therefore very rarely recruit externally for opportunities within this team which makes this a fantastic and rare opportunity to join a highly established Advisory team.This firm has a very strong market reputation and internal culture which sees very low staff turnover. The exposure within this role will vary extensively, with clients ranging from local fast growing entrepreneurial owner managed businesses, up to largeinternational PLCs across a wide variety of sectors.Key responsibilities will include: You will have a good understanding of the key value drivers and stakeholders in a Corporate Finance Transaction and will have the ability to manage projects and teams Playing a key role in the delivery of financial due diligence on deals In addition to financial due diligence and reporting, working on transactions for both buy and sell side, consulting and debt advisory, restricting and valuations projects Building market relationships and networks and contributing to the process of winning new business for the Advisory team Maintaining strong clients relationships and identifying opportunities to cross-sell other service lines of the firm Assist in the production and presentation of new proposals Prepare fee estimates and budgets for client assignments and justify any changes over the duration of the project Responsible for managing, motivating and coaching team members, providing regular feedback and supporting their development Play a key role in engagements, communicating with the core leadership team as and when necessaryRequirements: Finalist (due to Qualify Sep/Oct 2022) or Fully-Qualified Chartered Accountant Trained within Practice, either within Audit or Advisory You will have strong knowledge of Corporate finance Transactions and specifically, Financial Due Diligence A strong commercial awareness with an eye for detail Exception interpersonal skills and relationship building skills The ability to advise clients on complex technical matters Proven track record of delivering results whilst working to tight deadlinesPlease note that you must also have full UK working rights to be considered for this position.To discuss this role further, or other opportunities within Practice, please contact Johanne Smith.
