Job Description

Tours Consultant required for an award-winning, domestic travel company who specialise in experiential holidays throughout Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales. The company are very stable financially and have an excellent reputation for being the top UK& Ireland specialist tour operator. Salary 20-25K, dependent upon experience.Tours Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for responding to enquiries from both direct clients and partner companies and converting them into tailormade holidays
  • Listen to the desires of the customer and construct the trips based on their requirements, organising all aspects inclusive of all accommodation, transport and activities
  • Work in collaboration with local business partners in the construction and operation of the trips
  • Provide an A-Class service
Tours Consultant Requirements:
  • Natural Sales person paired with the very high customer service standards
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Skilled communicator
  • Must possess a huge passion for, and a high level of knowledge of the geography of the UK and Ireland.
  • Ability to encourage customers to explore beyond the beaten track
  • Experience within the travel industry is preferred, but not essential depending on transferable experience on CV
Tours Consultant Additional Info:
  • Some evening and weekend work required in peak season
  • Glasgow-based
  • Salary 20-25K DOE
