A pioneering tech company in Glasgow is looking to add to their testing team.The company are leaders in their (niche!) field, and have done some interesting and varied projects across the UK from Shetland to Glasgow, as well as further afield (the rest of the UK, Europe and the US).This role is based within their product development team; they both have their own range of products and work with clients to create bespoke products too. Youll be joining a team of like-minded Test Engineers and will be responsible for testing, both manual and automated, with a particular focus on systems testing.The type of work the company do is a little bit different, they arent your typical software technology company so theres the opportunity to delve in some varied projects that are beneficial to the planet!Youll have most of the following skills/experience:*Manual testing*Automated testing (BDD framework)*System testing/SIT*Test plan, test execution, reports and documentation*API testing (would be a bonus)*Agile methodology*Hardware/virtual computer system environments*Windows and Linux platforms*Network components and conceptsTheir products are a mix of software and hardware and although you will be focused on software testing, experience with hardware environments and network components (like VPN, remote desktop, firewalls etc.) would be a huge bonus! It might be that you were previously in a Network Engineer/Support Engineer type role at some point and have made the shift to software testing, or you might just have some knowledge around this.The salary on offer is up to £45,000 dependent on experience, plus an annual bonus (based off company performance).
