Job Description

Temporary Lead Projects Engineer We have an excellent opportunity to join the team at New Victoria Hospital. We are recruiting a Lead Projects Engineer to join on a temporary basis working full time 8:30 - 5pm Monday - Friday.This role is initially for around 3 months however this could increase.The salary is a day rate of £230.What you will be doing -

  • Lead the team to deliver the agreed project outcomes.
  • Translating client needs and organising practical terms into required timelines to be met by the team.
  • Maintaining cleanliness to ensure h&s standards on site.
  • Ensure that all legal requirements are met through the project.
  • Embed standardised project management/delivery documentation, processes, and methodologies alongside the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure appropriate project controls, tracking and reporting delivery against milestones and budgets.
  • Effectively manage supply chain partners ensuring the best fit partners delivery in support of the scalable growth targets.
  • Ensure correct commissioning of buildings management systems with the ability to physically complete when required.
  • Ensure correct BMS linked software development and installation.
  • Set up of Z3RO SaaS platform.
  • Preparation of paperwork (method statements & risk assessments) and complete witness sheets and commissioning sheets. Reviewing sub-contractor paperwork.
  • Preparation of O&M materials.
  • Have awareness of all aspects of data lifecycle, including data ethics and applicable legislation/standards.
Who are we looking for
  1. You will need to have extensive experience operating as either a Project Engineer or Senior Commissioning Engineer within the BEMS & Building Controls Industries within the UK marketplace (3-5 years) with strong technical understanding of industry leadingsystems including Siemans, Trend and Tridium.
  2. You’ll have demonstrable and verifiable experience of commercial management against minor through major projects.
  3. You will need to demonstrate experience of managing and motivating people.
  4. A track record of successful BEMS project management, delivering against objectives and to budget. This can be as a Senior Project Engineer wanting to take the next step in their career.
  5. Albeit character is key.
  6. A project Management Qualification.
  7. A recognised Construction Qualification.
  8. IOSH
