Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation based in Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit a Technical Security Manager for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of c.£450-550/day (outside of IR35). Candidates must have SC clearance for this role. This role will initially be remote based.Responsibilities: • Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Security Manager to work on a short term project related to our clients connections with their Partner Networks. • You will be asked to look at our clients systems network resilience and provide information requested by these partners. • You will also be asked to work alongside the team on hardware refreshes and IT Health Checks (ITHC) that will bring about improved system functionality and cost saving improvements.Essential Skills:• Ability and knowledge to work without supervision and deliver objectives of this short term Project.• Skilled in networking, security and AWS technologies.• Experience and knowledge of the process and approvals required for Government & Police systems.• Ability to update all documentation and support required to meet Government accreditation and risk acceptance requirements.• Ability to scope, supervise and plan the testing and remediation of ITHCs.• Able to demonstrate they have worked in regulated environments (e.g. finance, government)If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
