With over 40 operational windfarms, we manage all of our sites through our world leading Control Centre at Whitelee Windfarm., near Glasgow.At ScottishPower Renewables, we know people are central to building a better future, quicker and we are seeking new talent to join our team.PurposeThe Technical Planner will be required to provide an overarching maintenance plan for all activities on the windfarm, they will facilitate and co-ordinate work requests and asset access management, whilst maintaining the SAP Maintenance management system with works conducted records, ensuring statutory inspections and asset integrity are maintained at all times.Responsibilities * Facilitating and controlling site work requests and asset access. Ensuring safety and quality of systems, detailing SAP job profiles, enlisting work scheduling and organisational control.* Administration of the maintenance management system ‘SAP, ensuring this is up to date by liaising with the Deputy Site Managers, Windfarm Controllers and Bop Technicians* Ensure work orders are efficiently scheduled and prioritised, balancing requirements to available resource. The SAP database should always be a true reflection of the maintenance activities being carried out at any time* Control and update the site access register and Permit to Work systems, managing access restrictions and prioritising site inspection and maintenance activities* Track and alter maintenance plans if schedules are delayed or disrupted* Support the Asset Integrity and Operations teams with work scheduling and reporting of maintenance activities* Using the companys maintenance management system, ensure the correct work control documents, safety documents and work instructions are all up to date and attached to form part of the issued work pack.* Liaise with AIM to provide technical assessment of defects and schedule defect maintenance into the planned maintenance programme* Review and track Corrective Maintenance activities to form trends and proactively resolve defects on the Plant.* Ensure optimum availability of the site through effective outage planning and management which minimises the duration of any outages.* Review third party contractor risk assessments and method statements to ensure these are comprehensive and fulfil necessary requirementsSkills and Requirements* Ability to plan multiple work scopes and create an overarching plan* Ability to prioritise work scopes and simultaneous operations* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications* Experience in the use of SAP IT or similar systems* Communication and interpersonal skills at a high level in order to be effective in the monitoring and influencing of third party contractors.* Ability to make decisions in a pressurised environment * Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team* Ability to work within a multi-national organisation To be successful in a role you will need to demonstrate as minimum:* Experienced in planning of large scale works ideally in the Offshore Wind Industry* Experienced use of SAP planning and maintenance systems* Practical experience of the asset management of industrial HV and LV systems, including resource planning and maintenance project delivery * Working knowledge of planning software, such as MS Project / Primavera* Planning and organization skills* Reporting and communication skills* Flexible towards the operation of the wind farm* HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (Desirable) * APMP / PRINCE 2 (Desirable)Special Requirements * Willing to travel within the UK and Europe on occasion necessitating overnight stays* Able to transit offshore via marine or helicopter transfer without suffering from sea/travel sicknessFlexible approach to working hours in order to ensure the delivery of planned and unplanned activitiesWhat We OfferThis is a Permanent contract with a salary circa £39,000 and a performance related bonus up to 10%.As part of our commitment to a supportive and inclusive place to work, we recognise that our employees have different personal circumstances and want a suitable work-life balance.
