An established and continually growing family run business producing high quality goods requires an experienced Technical Manager to support their operational teams.Client DetailsEstablished nearly 90 years ago, family business proudly crafting high quality goods from Glasgow, a famous Scottish family brand located in a state-of-the-art production facility.Loved by consumers across Scotland with ownership of numerous accolades and awards.DescriptionMaintaining and developing Quality Management systems.Managing all due diligence information for customers and suppliers, ensuring compliance with UK and EU legislation and best practice.Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.Taking responsibility for scheduling and performing internal audit programmes, and Quality equipment maintenance, testing and calibration.Managing technical budget ensuring best value for money.Identifying, setting, and monitoring technical KPIs.Complaint processing and rejection analysis to improve service provision.Maintaining the customer database, including product specifications and document control ensuring standards are BRC audit-ready at all times.Managing the Hygiene function (4 staff).Implement and maintain the companys audit systems.GMP audits and assisting production management with implementing and improving company procedures. (Good Manufacturing Practice)Overseeing annual BRC and all customer and third-party audits.Participating in responding to customer requests and product samples requests.General technical duties including glass audits/calibrations/shelf-life testing/fridge temperatures/blade checks etc.Managing NPD projects alongside the M.D. including ingredient declarations and label design.Profile* Solid experience in a similar role, demonstrating management of technical requirements and audit schedules.* Excellent communication skills at all levels.* A solid understanding of technical detail and due diligence requirements.* Strong analytical skills.* Good organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills.Job OfferExcellent Salary £40K - £50K DOEMonday to Friday working with further flexibilityJob StabilityProgression Opportunities
