Job Description SummaryReporting to a Team Leader within the Customer Design & Deployment Teams, The Network TDA is responsible for designing fit for purpose Network Solutions to support the business objectives of Capita Networking Solutions and its extensive customer base. Were now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possibleReporting to a Team Leader within the Customer Design & Deployment Teams, The Network TDA is responsible for designing fit for purpose Network Solutions to support the business objectives of Capita Networking Solutions and its extensive customer base, in particular SWAN customers.Candidates are expected to have demonstrable, large-scale Network Architecture experience, combined with good consulting skills and an understanding of how network technologies impact on...and are impacted by other IT infrastructure technologies. Candidates should have two or more years real-world Network Design experienceKey Attributes* Be able to translate customer business and technology requirements that can vary in detail, and produce high quality network solutions, at both high and low levels of detail.* Be able to deliver designs to defined standards, often against challenging timescales.* Provide input to technical designs provided by other ITES technology groups - a level of "cross-functional" technical knowledge is highly desirable.* Provide direct, credible and authoritative interaction with ITES colleagues and customers alike.* Actively contribute to continual service delivery improvement.* Act as a SME and mentor to more junior Network Engineering staff.Essential Experience/Skills* Key technical skills include:o WANo Routing & Switching (Cisco or Juniper)o Firewall Solutions(Cisco Firepower, Checkpoint, PaloAlto, or Juniper)o Load Balancing (F5)* Candidates will be expected to have demonstrable senior experience, and will likely be working towards achieving a CCIE or similar accreditation, and may possess a combination of the following:o Cisco CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCDP o Checkpoint CCSA/CCSEo Cisco CCIE or JNCIP/JNCIE* Have a good standard of General Education.* Hold Current SC Clearance (or candidate will be submitted for, and expected to attain Security Clearance (SC) classification).About Capita IT ServicesCapita IT Services are part of Capita Plc, the UKs leading provider of business process management and integrated professional support service solutions.
