Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Analyst to join their team. About the role:The Technical Analyst will manage the implementation of already utilised business solutions to meet the objectivesrequired by the business. They will address efficiency of these business solutions to understand the capabilities and shortcomings of the software.The role will translate the technical requirementsinto a tangible plan of action overseeing designs, configurations, and updates to the systems. The rolewill be apart of the IT team, collaboratingwith wider teams in the business to ensure an end-to-endsolution is met.Responsibilities:Provide analytic skills to support and developbusiness systems-

• Maintenance of enterprise-level informationsystems, applications, and configurations.
• Work along developers, contributing towards the building and design of streamlined operational processes.
• Use continual process analysis to appraise existing software components and facilitate upgrades and re-engineering to maximise performance.
• Communicate within wider teams of the business to understand key process flows and address improvements from the implementation of software applications.
• Communicate complex information clearlyto diverseaudiences to realise intended outcomes.
• Think cross-functionally to ensure a solution toaddressbusiness problems.

Transform internal and external client requests into functional designs-

• Haveunderstanding of business and technical knowledge, liaising between IT and wider business teams.
• Evaluate client needs and projects for technical suitability and communicateduringthe project.
• Deliver established tasks within budget, quality, and time requirements.
• Transform business needs intotechnical specifications for IT Development using available resources.
• Understand and provide accurate estimates of timescales andexpensesfor the robust execution of technical solutions.
• Work within formal IT project briefs.
• Work alongside the Testing team to guarantee changes are undertaken suitably, minimizing the impact to the business.
• Assist and undertake system unit tests, integration tests, regression tests and performance tests to implement change.

Comply with business standards and procedures-

• Comply with business change management procedures.
• Provide availability and serviceability to development and testing environments by providing relevant data and configuration settings.
• Documentation of procedures and established methodologies which comply with standards of the business.
• Ensure all systems processes and technical solutions are recorded in a straightforward manner and up to date.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree level qualification/relevant work experience.
• Understanding of Order to Cash and Supply Chain business processes.
• Strong analytical abilities and proven experience in solving problems in anapplication environment.
• Exposure in data migration and integration projects.
• Experience with Visio (or other) for modelling business processes.
• Mastery of Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively with external partners.
• Excellent personal effectiveness and stakeholder management skills.
• Focus on delivery quality and self-management of tasks.
• Straightforward communication.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP platform.
• Knowledge of Payments Integrations/Financial Systems.
• Understanding of Financial Regulations.
• JIRA software experience.
